LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!
Our ski apartment is over two floors of Les Gentianes in the authentic Savoyard village of St Martin de Belleville.
The Belleville valley, the Méribel and Courchevel valleys, comprise the 3 valleys – the world’s largest ski area with 600km of pistes and 180 ski lifts.
Access to these pistes from St Martin is via an 8-seater gondola lift which, as you can see from the above photos, is just yards from the flat.
The unusually spacious flat sleeps up to 6 adults and 2 children. There is one double room looking out onto the beginning of the ski area and the ski lift, and two twin bedrooms with balconies looking out to the mountains on the other side of the valley. There is also a bunk bed in the hallway for children.
There are two bathrooms both with baths with integral shower and two separate WCs. Downstairs there is a spacious open plan living area / kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine.
The ski school meeting area is just in front of the building and Intersport ski hire (Zac de Grangerais branch) is next door.
The ski pass shop and ski school booking office is 200 yards away.
HOW TO GET THERE
St. Martin is easily accessible from the UK by road (AutoRoute nearly all the way), by rail to Moutiers (Eurostar do an overnight ski train), by air to Geneva or to Lyons' Satelas airport.
If travelling by train or plane you can get a bus or taxi to St Martin de Belleville.
